Description

  

Loch Harbour Group is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in Patuxent River, Maryland. The ideal candidate is a seasoned acquisition professional with extensive experience supporting the Department of War aviation programs and a strong background in program management, acquisition planning, budget execution, and schedule management. 

This position is contingent upon contract award.
 

In this role, you will provide program management support for complex aircraft and weapons system acquisition efforts, ensuring successful execution of program objectives while collaborating with government stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include:
 

· Apply analytical techniques to evaluate program and project objectives, identify risks, and recommend solutions to support mission success. 

· Analyze program requirements, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with acquisition objectives. 

· Perform management, technical, and business case analyses to support program decision-making. 

· Collect, organize, interpret, and present data related to aircraft, weapon systems, and acquisition programs. 

· Track program status, milestones, deliverables, and integrated schedules to ensure timely execution. 

· Develop and support acquisition strategies throughout the program lifecycle

· Conduct cost and performance trade analyses to support informed program decisions. 

· Apply government-established processes for documentation, configuration management, change control, and data management, 

· Collaborate with government leadership, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful program execution and compliance with Department of War acquisition policies. 

  

Clearance Required

· Active Secret Security Clearance

Work Location:

· Location: Patuxent River, MD (On-site)

· Working Hours: Standard business hours with occasional flexibility to support program requirements. 


Requirements

Required qualifications: 

· Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited institution. 

· Minimum of 3 to 10 years experience performing duties described in the functional requirements

· Experience developing and executing integrated Government schedules, 

· Experience developing and executing budget and phasing plans

· Experience with cost and performance trades

· Experience with utilizing Microsoft Projects. 

· Experience evaluating program objectives, requirements, budgets, schedules, and performance, 

· Demonstrated experience conduction management, technical, or business case analyses. 

· Experience supporting aircraft, weapons systems, or related defense acquisitions programs. 

· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications 

· Experience supporting Department of War and Department of Navy Acquisition programs

· Experience developing acquisition strategies for complex defense programs

· Experience developing and executing integrated government schedules

· Experience developing, managing, and executing program budgets and phasing plans. 

· Experience performing cost, schedule, and performance trade analyses

· Knowledge of DOW acquisition policies, processes, and lifecycle management


Salary Description

$125,000-$145,000
