In this role, you will:
- Build and maintain integrated master schedules, key milestones, and critical paths aligned with the vehicle product development lifecycle.
- Define task dependencies, durations, and resource requirements across cross-functional teams.
- Track program progress against baselines, proactively identifying critical path bottlenecks, delays, and schedule risks.
- Develop mitigation plans for at-risk activities and escalate timing issues with actionable recommendations.
- Prepare timing status reports, executive dashboards, and timeline presentations for management gateway reviews.
- Track and report core timing KPIs, including milestone adherence, schedule slippage, and on-time delivery.
- Partner with Program Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure cross-functional timeline alignment.
- Coordinate critical milestones across functional areas, including sourcing, tooling, validation, and launch timing.
- Maintain scheduling tools and standardize timing templates across multiple program platforms to ensure data integrity.
- Drive continuous improvement in program scheduling processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in program scheduling, project planning, or timing analysis
- Experience in automotive or manufacturing program environments strongly preferred
- Knowledge of automotive product development processes (APQP, gateway/phase reviews)
- Understanding of vehicle program milestones (SOP, PPAP, launch, ramp-up)
- Familiarity with automotive development lifecycle and launch processes
- Understanding of engineering, tooling, and manufacturing timing dependencies
- Knowledge of supplier readiness and PPAP timing requirements
- Awareness of validation, testing, and homologation timing
Bonus Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field
- Project management certification (PMP) advantageous
Base Salary Range
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
