Project Coordinator

We are currently seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to serve as the operational backbone of our Disaster Division. This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented, deadline-driven professional to work alongside Project Managers and Superintendents to turn complex recovery projects into clear, actionable plans, and to help families and communities get back home faster.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to build comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information across multiple active projects
- Manage permitting with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), tracking applications, inspections, and approvals to keep work moving
- Break projects into manageable actions with clear timeframes and accountability
- Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives
- Assign tasks to internal teams and support schedule management to keep projects on track
- Ensure clients' needs are met as projects evolve and priorities shift
- Assist in preparing and monitoring project budgets and respond to financial inquiries
- Monitor project progress, proactively identifying and resolving issues as they arise
- Work with Project Managers and Superintendents to eliminate blockers and keep crews productive
- Track working hours, plans, and expenditures using project management tools
- Maintain accurate, organized project documentation from initiation through closeout

Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in construction, disaster recovery, or housing programs
- Working knowledge of the permitting process and experience interacting with AHJs and inspectors
- Familiarity with CDBG-DR, FEMA, or other federally funded programs is a strong plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software such as Procore and Bluebeam
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
- Adaptable and calm under pressure, able to respond to changing project conditions
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team
