Program/Project Manager – Cable & Wire Harness

Blaine, MN | Direct Hire | $75k-$90k

Konik is partnering with an established electronics manufacturer seeking a Program/Project Manager to coordinate customer programs involving cable assemblies, wire harnesses, electronic assemblies, and custom interconnect solutions.

This is a customer-facing role focused on planning, communication, coordination, and execution. The Program/Project Manager will serve as the central point of contact for assigned programs, keeping customers and internal teams aligned on requirements, schedules, engineering changes, production activities, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple customer programs from initial requirements and design review through quoting, prototyping, production launch, and delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, maintaining regular communication and ensuring requirements and expectations are clearly understood.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, action items, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities between customers, engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, suppliers, and other internal teams.
• Track project status, identify potential delays or issues, and drive follow-up actions through completion.
• Coordinate engineering changes, customer requests, production updates, and other program activities.
• Help manage customer requirements, drawings, specifications, bills of material, and other project documentation.
• Support quoting and new product introduction activities by coordinating information between customers and internal technical teams.
• Participate in customer meetings, design reviews, production meetings, and project status reviews.
• Manage multiple programs and priorities while maintaining clear communication and visibility across the organization.

Qualifications

• Project management, program management, project coordination, or similar experience within a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Experience working with customers and coordinating projects involving multiple internal departments.
• Experience with electronics, electromechanical products, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, or similar manufactured products preferred.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material, and technical documentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience coordinating new product introduction, production launches, engineering changes, or similar manufacturing projects preferred.
• Experience within medical device, aerospace, defense, or another regulated manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Proactive problem solver who takes ownership of projects and follows issues through to resolution.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, project management, or a related technical discipline preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
