Project Manager - Land Development

 We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join McAdams and help build out our Civil Engineering department. This individual will be responsible for working with other engineers in the development of the overall layout and original designs. 

Essential Functions + Responsibilities

• Practical experience and knowledge of related discipline


• Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D with grading, drainage, and stormwater management, in private, public, or Federal land development projects is desired


• Knowledge of and experience working with stormwater and erosion control regulations and requirements


• Ability to handle working on multiple projects at the same time


• Work well in a group/team setting


• Experience in supporting business development, marketing, presentations, interviews, and client management


• Experience in development of project scopes, programming, and fee proposals

Minimum Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent technical experience


• AutoCAD Civil 3D


• 7-10 years' experience 


• Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of North Carolina 


• Project Management Experience


• Residential and Commercial Design
