Promotion Distribution Team Member

Job Description:

Summary:

The New York Mets are looking for seasonal hourly members for our Promotions team. Promotions Team Members are responsible for greeting guests and distributing promotional items at the gates. This is a seasonal game day position that will only be scheduled on promotional giveaway days, specialty ticket items, concerts, specific NYCFC games, and select special event requests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Arrive on time and in full uniform

• Prepare gates for giveaway which includes but is not limited to breaking down pallets, moving boxes close to turnstiles, distributing boxes to other locations, and counting items/boxes

• Greet each fan in a cheerful and professional manner as well as assist with any questions or complaints

• Distribute 1 item per ticketed fan that enters through the turnstile(s) that you have been assigned to

• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the gate that you have been assigned

• Assist with delivering boxes to other gates to even distribution as we get closer to running out of items

• Conduct wrist banding during concerts for all floor and VIP seating/standing room

• Scan specialty tickets and distribute item to specific ticketed guests during specialty ticket item distribution

• Assist with other projects as determined by your supervisor

Qualifications & Required Skills:

• The ideal candidates will be personable, motivated, and team oriented

• A flexible schedule for day games, nights, weekends and holidays during the baseball season with a required availability for March 2026 training dates

• Punctuality including being on-time and responding to emails from your supervisor

• Following uniform guidelines

• High School or College Students preferred

• Team members are required to work events throughout the baseball season including potential post season Mets game, soccer, concert and special events

Hourly Rate: $20.00
