Psychiatric APRN

Location: Hamden, CT
Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time / Per Diem
Pay: Up to $70/hour
Schedule: Flexible scheduling; primary shifts 7:00am–3:00pm or 3:00pm–11:00pm

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Psychiatric APRN to support a collaborative clinical team providing care to children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management
• Develop and document treatment plans and discharge recommendations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care
• Provide clinical consultation and participate in team meetings
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies
• Support continuity of care, including occasional on-call coverage

Qualifications:

• Active APRN license in the state of Connecticut
• DEA and Controlled Substance Registration required
• 3–5+ years of psychiatric experience preferred (youth/adolescent a plus)
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills
• Ability to work with diverse and trauma-impacted populations
