Job Description - Psychiatric -Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner to service a new outpatient addiction medicine facility opening in Hyannis, MA! The chosen candidate will provide community-based care, collaborative psychopharmacology, and care management to individuals with dual diagnosis [psychiatry and addictions] and their families. The NP will be an active and critical member of the multidisciplinary care team, assist other prescribers in promoting and monitoring wellness, ensure excellent care and provide evidence-based therapies to our participants and families.

Requirements

MSN/MS from accredited program. Professional licensure and DEA are a requirement of employment.

Knowledge of addiction and psychiatric medications. Psychiatric board certification preferred, but not required.

Prior experience providing treatment to addiction/behavioral health patients.

Experience prescribing to patients with co-occurring disorders.

Excellent communication skills, high level integrity, and a willingness to work collaboratively.
