1 weekend per month: 8a – 4:30p

Reason for Coverage: Supplemental
Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

PATIENT INFORMATION

Average Daily Volume: 16 -18 patients/day
Rounding: Assigned Patients

EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: RNs: yes, PA/NPs: 2

Hospital Privileges Required: No
Temporary Privileges Available: No

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Required:
- Anxiety disorders
- Affective disorder
- ADD/ADHD
- Personality disorders
- Eating disorders
- Development disorders
- Psychotic disorders
- Organic disorders
- Involuntary commitments
- Seclusion therapy
- Restraint application
- Pharmacotherapy
Preferred:
- ECT

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Eligible (must obtain certification within 5 years of residency)
Licenses: Licensed in MO or Universal License (IMLC)
Certifications: BLS
Experience: Epic experience required

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide inpatient psychiatric care to assigned patients
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage treatment plans
Administer pharmacotherapy and other therapeutic interventions
Participate in weekend rounding as scheduled (1 weekend per month)
Document patient encounters in Epic EMR
