STATUS:  Full Time 

LOCATION:  St. Lawrence Region - Gouverneur, NY         

DEPARTMENT: Behavioral Health

THE POSITION

St. Lawrence Health is looking for full time Psychiatrists to join our team of dedicated providers!

• The ideal candidate will be BE within 5 years of completing residency or BC in Psychiatry. 

• The primary location for this position is located in Gouverneur at Gouverneur Hospital.

• Psychiatrists will see patients 5+ years of age to geriatric range of patients.

• Behavioral Health Medical Director - primarily provides outpatient services with some inpatient hospital consults.

  • Oversight of GH Detox Clinic including detox consults.

  • Collaboration with seasoned PMHNP in OMH clinic.

  • Collaboration with seasoned NP in SUD clinic.

  • Inpatient hospital consults at SLH locations as needed during regular business hours.

  • Vacation coverage for all SLH locations (phone encounters, prescription refills, etc.) during business hours.

• No after-hours call.

• Flexibility with setting up schedule.

• Collaborative environment working with psychologists, LCSW’s, therapists and nurses.

OFFERINGS

• Full-Time Base Pay Range: $308,000-$400,700*

• Compensation with salary guarantee, performance-based incentives, sign on bonus

In addition to the base pay range, certain provider positions may be eligible for variable compensation in accordance with health system pay practices.  This may include: productivity and/or value-based clinical incentives, bonus compensation, or other forms of variable pay.
