Position Overview:
The Psychotherapist is responsible for completing mental health and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) clinical assessments; providing individual, family, and group therapy; case management and discharge planning with the highest level of service excellence. The therapist consults with physicians and fellow caregivers as a member of a multidisciplinary team to assure the highest quality service is delivered in a timely and efficient manner. They participate in departmental and system-wide quality improvement activities and act as a resource to all clinic and system personnel.

This position is a direct care provider and requires the ability to give adequate care to patients/residents in the following age groups:

Work Environment:
Clinical outpatient environment. Fast-paced and challenging environment with constantly changing reimbursement rules and regulations. Multi-tasking ability required due to the wide variety of assigned duties.
Required Work Schedule:
Typical work schedule is Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, however there may be times that it is necessary to be flexible regarding times for group sessions in the unit and with outpatient sources.
