Checking in patients, accepting co-payments and posting payments
Scheduling appointments, problem-solving and schedule optimization
Obtaining, managing and troubleshooting referrals and authorizations
Communicating proactively with clinical staff any issues concerning patient care
Requirements
Previous experience in the healthcare industry required, experience in a Physical Therapy office preferred.
Able to work independently.
Great Phone and people skills.
Must be a team player and willing to work together with a tight-knit organization
Must possess effective communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with fast-paced physical therapists, medical professionals, patients and their families
Must have efficient documentation skills, an attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Must be comfortable with EMR (electronic medical records).
Must possess a personable, collaborative attitude, the ability to prioritize many different projects simultaneously.
Should value overall health and wellness as well as be able to promote our practice as an orthopedic specialty practice
