What you’ll be responsible for:
Provide outpatient pulmonary and primary care to adult patients with conditions such as COPD, asthma, chronic cough, and other respiratory disorders.
4-5 days in clinic.
Conduct patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and care coordination in collaboration with other providers.
Review pulmonary diagnostics, including spirometry, PFTs, imaging (e.g., chest X-rays), and other relevant clinical data.
Manage treatment plans, medication adjustments, and patient education related to pulmonary disease management.
Collaborate with respiratory therapists, nurses, care coordinators, and clinical support staff.
Document care accurately and efficiently within the electronic health record.
Adhere to all clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
This may be a fit if you have:
• Licensed in Arizona.
• Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to be personable and supportive of patients and a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience providing telemedicine care to patients.
• Experience providing culturally competent, patient centered care.
• Ability to provide engaging and effective clinical training and mentorship for clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Strong computer skills & competence with telemedicine tools & EMR documentation.
• Tolerance or appetite for change and some degree of ambiguity that comes with working in a startup environment.
