Kenney Industries, Inc. is a growing manufacturing company specializing in CNC Machining, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Welding, and Assembly. With over 50 CNC machines in a 55,000 sq ft facility, we deliver high-quality precision components and assemblies for a wide range of industries. We're looking for a skilled and proactive Purchasing Agent to join our team and drive cost-effective sourcing, strong vendor relationships, and smooth project execution.

What You'll Do:

• Source raw materials, tooling, components, and services to support CNC machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly operations


• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with domestic and international suppliers to secure the best total value


• Manage end-to-end procurement projects, ensuring on-time delivery, quality compliance, and optimal inventory levels


• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, including overseas suppliers


• Track market trends, material pricing, and supply chain risks to support strategic decision-making


• Collaborate closely with production, engineering, quality, and assembly teams

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in purchasing or supply chain roles, ideally in a manufacturing or machining environment


• Strong sourcing, negotiating, and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to reduce costs and improve efficiency


• Experience working with overseas vendors is a significant plus (import processes, international logistics, or supplier management)


• Proficiency with ERP systems or procurement software is preferred


• Excellent organizational and communication skills
