Purchasing Agent - Supply Chain Management, Full-Time, Woodbury

Under the direction of the Purchasing Manager, this position is responsible for the order placement of all inventory and non-inventory supplies, equipment, and services, except pharmaceuticals, food products, and maintenance supplies. This position also works with other departments to ensure timely delivery, receipt, and proper pricing for all such orders placed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.   


• Associates or Bachelors’ degree preferred.


• A minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing and/or materials management. 


• Previous experience in healthcare with a thorough knowledge of hospital products preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

• Valid driver’s license.
