Purchasing/Estimating Specialist

As our new home construction business continues to grow, we're expanding our Pricing & Estimating Department and looking for motivated individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and excited to help bring dream homes to life.

JOB OVERVIEW

Purchasing/Estimating Specialist is responsible for the assistance in the development, implementation, execution, and communication of strategies, processes, and procedures to maximize project margin and efficiencies.

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS

1. Maintain Current Siding/Roofing Base House Material Budgets


2. Review all submitted bids that come in from our trade partners through the Bid Folder within a timely matter.


3. Estimate and record all labor bids which will include framing, siding, roofing and trim carpentry.


4. Issue/Correct/Approve all invoices.


5. Update and distribute current contracts to our trade partners so they can plan accordingly their future workflow.


6. Review and scan all work orders into their appropriate file (house file) on the H: Drive.


7. Develop and maintain a process to get all IHMS options up to date and maintained efficiently and accurately.


8. Work with sales on all necessary preliminary pricing to assist them in getting contracts. This needs to be done in a timely and efficient manner.


9. Work with all trade partners on pricing, estimating and negotiating in the best interest of Heritage Homes.


10. Develop and maintain a system for all receivables on our jobsite and tracking the supply lists that come with it.


11. Develop necessary takeoffs for all plans and trades as necessary to ensure accurate pricing.
