Quality Assurance Representative

About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Representative II to support
quality assurance activities on construction projects in the Port St. Lucie, FL
area. This role will be responsible for monitoring construction activities,
verifying compliance with project requirements, specifications, plans, and
applicable quality standards, and supporting the project team in identifying
and addressing quality-related issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong
construction background, including significant experience working on heavy
civil projects, and must be comfortable working in active construction
environments and on rough terrain.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Construction Inspection

·         Monitor construction activities
to ensure work is performed in accordance with approved plans, specifications,
contract requirements, and quality standards.

·         Perform field inspections of
ongoing construction activities and document observations, deficiencies, and
quality concerns.

·         Verify that materials,
workmanship, and construction processes meet project requirements.

·         Identify potential quality
issues and communicate them to the appropriate project personnel.

·         Assist in tracking corrective
actions and verifying that identified deficiencies are properly addressed.

·         Maintain accurate and timely
inspection records, reports, checklists, and other project documentation.

Field Operations

·         Conduct regular field
observations and inspections at active construction sites.

·         Monitor construction progress
and observe work performed by contractors and subcontractors.

·         Coordinate with project
management, construction personnel, inspectors, engineers, and other
stakeholders as required.

·         Review field conditions and
communicate issues that may affect quality, schedule, or compliance.

·         Support quality assurance
activities throughout the duration of the project.

Documentation & Reporting

·         Prepare daily or periodic
quality assurance reports based on field observations and inspections.

·         Document deficiencies,
non-conforming work, and corrective actions.

·         Maintain organized records of
inspections, testing, materials, and other quality-related activities.

·         Provide clear and timely
updates to project management regarding field conditions and quality concerns.

·         Assist with project closeout
documentation and quality records as required.

Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

·         Minimum of 7 years of
experience in construction.

·         5 or more years of experience
working on Heavy Civil Projects.

·         Strong understanding of
construction practices, processes, materials, and field operations.

·         Experience working in active
construction environments.

·         Ability to read and understand
construction plans, specifications, and project documentation.

·         Strong attention to detail and
ability to identify construction quality issues.

·         Good written and verbal
communication skills.

·         Ability to work independently
as well as effectively with project teams.

·         Must be physically capable of
walking over rough terrain and standing for long periods of time.

·         Ability to work outdoors and in
varying field conditions.

Preferred:

·         Experience performing quality
assurance or construction inspection activities on heavy civil infrastructure
projects.

·         Experience working with
government or public-sector construction projects.

·         Familiarity with construction
quality control/quality assurance procedures.

·         Experience documenting field
inspections, deficiencies, and corrective actions.

·         Relevant construction,
inspection, engineering, or quality certifications.
