Quality Assurance/ACA Manager

$34.97 per hour | Full-time 

Ensures facility review of mandated systems in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and customer directives. Gathering and organizing required

documents for all MTC audits.

What you will do 

• Establish periodic and annual reviews of each department, ensuring compliance with MTC and customer directives.


• Implement the policy and procedure for the facility compliance.


• Provide training to comply with the American Correctional Association (ACA) accreditation requirements.


• Conduct regular reviews and inspections to ensure facility operations and programs meet compliance with all applicable laws and agency policy. This regular self-monitoring will be separate from any other inspections conducted by other agencies.


• Ensure that quarterly reports on the facility’s activities are provided to the appropriate individual or agency.


• Monitor and control expenditures. Review budget authorizations.


• Ensure that the facility has the staff needed to provide full coverage of designated security posts, full surveillance of detainees, and to perform all auxiliary functions.


• Required to make regular rounds of the facility to ensure compliance, which will require long periods of walking and standing.


• Regular and predictable onsite attendance is required.


• It’s expected the incumbent will work overtime when directed to do so.

What you will need 

• High school diploma or GED, three (3) years’ experience in an adult correctional/detention environment or related field, knowledge of program objectives, policies, procedures, and requirements for managing a secure detention/correctional facility, excellent verbal and written communication skills required


• US Citizenship or Lawful US Permanent Resident required.


• Experience in accreditation preparation is highly desired.


• Must successfully complete required preservice training.


• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
