The Vendor Specialist is responsible for ensuring vendor and product quality through audits, testing, and performance reviews, while driving continuous improvement, supporting ISO compliance, analyzing data for informed decision-making, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver accurate, high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Your ‘day to day’

• Conduct internal and external vendor audits to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards


• Implement and maintain vendor audit systems to support Six Sigma-level quality performance


• Lead vendor performance reviews covering quality, service, and delivery


• Perform material line studies, testing, and validation for new and existing products


• Manage test orders and verify accuracy of incoming raw materials and vendor invoices


• Execute quality audits for in-process and finished goods; drive corrective actions as needed


• Analyze data and generate clear, actionable reports to support decision-making


• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and customers to ensure satisfaction and successful change implementation


• Support ISO 9001 audits and maintain compliance with quality standards


• Serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external vendors


• Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and special projects


• Deliver accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Who we’re looking for:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred


• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality environment


• Experience with GMP, ISO 9001, or ISO 14001 strongly preferred


• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills


• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail


• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills


• Proficiency in basic statistics and computer applications


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively


• Minimal travel required


• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (required)

Annual Base Salary Range: $ 66,400 - $83,000
