2nd Shift Quality Auditor

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow sampling plans and standard operating procedures.


• Perform in-process and finished goods audits according to the Bill of Materials and established processes and procedures.


• Escalate the findings of these audits to Management  and necessary pass down on shift and initiate/execute root cause analysis and appropriate corrective actions.


• Enter audit data into Audit  Microsoft Access Database.


• Perform process audits in determining compliance to work instructions.


• Assists as needed in complaint investigations and special projects.


• Pays attention to detail and accuracy.


• Possesses sound reasoning and problem-solving skills.


• Perform testing and inspection for  out-sourced products when needed.


• Assist in training of new auditors when necessary.


• Flexible to work overtime and other shift when necessary.


• Work with Word and Excel software in preparing reports.


• Punctual and dependable.


• Comfortable working in Warehouse/Distribution setting .


• Physical requirements – able to stand for long periods of time. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six  months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 


• Ability to perform process audits


• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.


• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.


• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
