Position Overview:
B&T USA is seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector responsible for ensuring that finished products meet company quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role performs detailed inspections, identifies defects, documents findings, and collaborates with production teams to maintain product quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Read and interpret prints including complex multi part assemblies
- Program and operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).
- Measure parts with correct tools including micrometers, calipers, height gauge, pins, gauge blocks, CMM, etc.
- Perform first article inspections of parts before a production run may begin
- Perform periodic inspections of parts, stopping production if parts are out of spec
- Create in-process inspection instructions for operators of machines
- Instruct machine operators on proper measurement techniques
- Develop protocols to ensure accuracy of parts produced
- Understand and ensure compliance with all regulations concerning the department
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff by following established safety standards
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
- Support a positive and professional image through actions
- Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
- Essential duties as needed
Required Education/Experience
- High school diploma or GED. Completion of a technical or associate degree program a plus.
- 5 years previous work experience with quality control in manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.
- Extensive experience metrology.
- Experience both operating and programming CMM (brand does not matter).
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and rulers.
- Knowledge of quality inspection methods and defect identification.

- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds
- Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; and talk or hear.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Job Type:
FT – Hourly. Onsite, evening and weekend shifts also available. May be required to work after-hours, as needed, to meet production demands
