Job Summary
Jim Taylor Ford Lincoln is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Quality Control Technician to join our team at our Ruston, LA location. This role helps ensure every vehicle meets quality standards before it is returned to the customer.
The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, mechanically aware, and committed to helping the service department deliver consistent, high-quality work. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys catching issues before they become problems, supporting the team, and helping create a better overall customer experience.

Qualifications
· Automotive service experience preferred
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Strong attention to detail and observational skills
· Basic mechanical understanding and ability to identify concerns
· Ability to communicate clearly with technicians and service advisors
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
· Dependable, process-driven, and committed to quality
Responsibilities
· Perform final quality control inspections on completed vehicles before delivery
· Verify repairs were completed properly and vehicles are safe, clean, and ready for pickup
· Road test vehicles as needed to confirm repair quality and vehicle performance
· Check warning lights, fluid levels, basic functions, and overall workmanship
· Identify incomplete or missed items and communicate them clearly with technicians and service advisors
· Help maintain consistency in repair quality and delivery standards
· Support a clean, organized, and safe work environment
· Contribute to a productive, team-focused service department
