Quality Control Technician

JOB TITLE: Quality Control Technician

JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring quality standards are upheld at Diamondback Airboats  

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience working in quality control is required
• At least 1 year of following procedures and instructions per ISO requirements 
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

PREFERRED SKILLS

• 2+ years of experience in automotive/marine industry is preferred
• At least 1 year of quality experience in the automotive/marine industry is preferred
• Extremely detail oriented
• Effectively communicate with supervisors and coworkers 
• Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment 
• Forklift certification preferred

CORE DUTIES

• Responsible for overseeing the QC and repair process of all airboats manufacturing items
• Touch up, sand, and buff items that require corrective action
• Develop and maintain inspection reports
• Maintains cleanliness of working areas 
• Wears all required PPE
• Assist in other departments as needed
• Assist in assembly of small parts during any downtime
• Other duties as assigned

HOURS

• 1st shift position
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Overtime as needed

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
