Quality Inspector

• Inspect machined and sheet metal parts and assemblies, first piece set-ups, and in-process parts.
• Final inspection of all sub-assemblies.
• Final inspection of all completed parts.
• Maintain calibration program.
• Select a sample of parts, visually and physically examine the sample using CMM and comparing to blueprint specifications.
• Read detailed blueprints.
• Informs and works with various departments when the percentage of defects exceeds allowable limits to correct deficiencies.

• High School Diploma or GED; preferred completion of related trade school program
• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing inspection capacity
• 3 or more years related experience preferred
• Experience in job shop environment required
• Touch probe CMM experience
• Machining experience a plus
• Proven experience using various CMM
• CMM programming experience a plus
• Ability to read detailed blueprints.  Strong math skills. Knowledge of AS 9102 FAI requirements
• GD&T applications
• Ability to read and comprehend Defense, Aerospace, Medical and Commercial requirements and specifications
