Quality Inspector – Precision Machining (Direct Hire)

Westford, MA | $25–$30/hr DOE | M–F 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | On-site

We're hiring a hands-on Quality Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections on precision-machined aerospace components. If you can read a blueprint, apply GD&T, and hold tolerances as tight as ±0.0002" — we want to hear from you.

What you'll do:

• Perform in-process and final inspections on precision-machined components to tolerances as tight as ±0.0002"
• Interpret complex blueprints and GD&T to verify dimensional accuracy
• Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to confirm compliance
• Identify, document, and initiate NCRs; support root cause investigations
• Partner with production and engineering on quality and continuous improvement
• Maintain inspection records for customer and aerospace requirements

Requirements:

• 2–5+ years of quality inspection experience in precision machining
• Proven experience measuring to tolerances of ±0.0005" or tighter
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
• Hands-on experience with micrometers, calipers, and precision gauges

Aerospace background preferred. Equivalent experience in medical device, semiconductor, or high-precision automotive/industrial machining is considered.
