The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:\n\n$37,700.00 - $56,500.00\n\nPurpose Statement: The Quality Inspector Sr supports Quality activities for Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) as required by procedure. \n\nKey Job Accountabilities:\n\n * Participate in root cause analysis activities to identify cause of quality issues.\n * Enters standardized Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)information into Global Shop Floor (GSF). \n * Supervise work area utilizing 6S standards.\n * Performs routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels throughout various stages of production. Visually inspects sub-assemblies and HLA level products are using a magnifier or other tools as well as lot sampling methods, or 100% inspection.\n * Effectively communicate with supervisors to keep informed and escalate issues when needed.\n * \n\n\nEducation/Experience Qualifications:\n\n * A minimum of a High School diploma is required; an Associate\u2019s degree is preferred. \n * Five (5) years of related experience is required; Five (5) or more years of related experience is preferred.\n * IPC-A-610 CIS certification preferred.\n * Intermediate manufacturing experience, including knowledge of workmanship standards, is preferred.\n * An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.\n\n\n\nOther Qualifications: \n\n * Advanced reading, writing and math skills are required (i.e., 12th grade level)\n * Inspection skills\n * Knowledge of PCBA and HLA product builds\n * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills\n * Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision\n * Ability to maintain confidentiality of all company and customer info Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)\n * Must complete training for and become certified for Quality Assurance within six months of obtaining the position and must maintain QA certification to remain in the position\n * Basic PC skills are required (i.e., keyboarding skills, basic mouse usage, opening and closing programs and files using MS Windows/Google Workspace) and familiarity with applicable Plexus software packages\n * Individual will be required to sit or stand for long periods of time\n * Individual will be required to handle a PCB by turning it, flipping it, and angling it\n * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for use of computer monitor, keyboard and inspection equipment, and individual must meet the visual acuity requirements\n * General office equipment and materials\n\n\n\nPhysical Requirements: \n\n * Role will work in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment with required personal protective equipment. Facilities include comfortable temperatures, repetitive low noise level and suitable lighting for required tasks. May require physical stamina with strong manual dexterity and fine motor control with precise measurement equipment or delicate tools and components requiring a steady touch. Visual inspection may require acute near vision and the ability to work continually using magnifiers, cameras and other vision systems. Role will spend a majority of the time standing and sitting with limited activities including lifting packages, moving material and working around lifting and material movement equipment as needed.
