Quality Manager

As the Quality Manager, you will manage the Quality Assurance and Technical efforts of the facility in Carrollton, TX Plant. 

You will work onsite and report to the Plant Manager. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage Quality Systems and processes at Plant level by assuring products and services meet customer requirements. 

• Lead effort with site to constantly improve using Corrective Action Systems (CAER, ICAR, and Supplier CAR’s). 

• Monitor the voice of the customer (complaints/recalls) working with Tech Service to achieve total customer happiness. 

• Assess overall state of plant quality by conducting appropriate audits with corresponding improvement plans. 

• Manage formulary flow from R&D to plants including feedback loop for continual improvement includes formulas, test methods, specifications and manufacturing procedures. 

• Minimize SLOB, waste and defective product inventory through management of rework, wash water and minimization of problem batches. 

• Manage local lab within budget while meeting plant needs, doing so with a strong engagement in a safe and healthy work environment. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering or science degree or equivalent experience. 

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Operations working with chemicals, coatings, or similar liquid production. 

• Previous management experience. 


• Previous experience working in an SAP environment is preferred.
