The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Quality Production Specialist (Level3) to join our Supplier Quality Special Investigations Group onsite in Everett, Washington on 1st Shift.
The Supplier Quality Special Investigations Group (SIG) investigates suspected or confirmed quality escapement for Boeing Commercial Airplanes programs. This work involves working directly with suppliers, Supplier Quality Representatives, Procurement Agents, and Engineering to investigate potential quality escapements and ensure that nonconformances are identified and contained. This role is crucial to Boeing's ability to maintain safety and quality, while also supporting our suppliers with containment and root cause corrective action for their quality escapements.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid- Level and Experienced Quality Production Specialist.
Position Responsibilities:
Investigate supplier Notices of Investigation (NoIs) and Notices of Escapement (NoEs) in order to document and control supplier quality escapements which enter the Boeing Production System
Reviews and validates supplier product quality escapements, including non-conformances, non-compliances, and engineering requirements issues
Reviews and validates supplier inventory shipped to Boeing to identify shipment of nonconforming product
Coordinates review with Boeing Engineering, Program Quality, and Supplier representatives to implement disposition for nonconforming parts
Trains and mentors fellow employees in the Quality Management System
Performs root cause analysis on the nonconformance to identify the cause and prevent reoccurrence
Independently develops, modifies and documents actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action and documents resolution Obtains corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes
Negotiates concurrence, obtains commitments for taking preventive and corrective action, prioritizes quality activities and ensures problem resolution
Reviews and implements corrective action on audit results to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements
Interprets industry standards and provide recommendations for implementation. Creates analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal/external distribution. Works under general direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
3+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or quality role
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
1+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Associate’s Degree or higher
1+ years with Material Review Board (MRB) activities related to aircraft structures
3+ years in Quality Assurance
3+ years working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment
1+ years with regulatory requirements
1+ years performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
