Quality Team Leader 1st shift (Stamping Department)

Role and Responsibilities:

• Must proficiently perform all QA auditor functions and task at time of selection or within the first six months of employment at position.


• Conduct product qualifications audits.


• Assist with training of associate on all quality related items both in mass production and new model launch.


• Serve as JSC internal process and system auditor.


• Facilitate successful continuous improvement activities.


• Assist in technical and operational training of existing and new quality auditors.


• Monitors inspection processes and verifies that all are done on regular basis.


• Coach QA associates daily on quality management systems goal and objectives.


• Mentor and guild QA auditor to receive best possible outcome but keeping all information regarding performance confidential.


• Work with production T/L, and management to ensure containment of all non-conforming material.


• Work to solve problems and overcome obstacles, in needed involve production staff, die maintenance, maintenance and need management to solve issue also must follow up to ensure closure of issues.


• Maintain daily housekeeping of work area to ensure a clean work environment and proper 5-S.


• Ensure all daily paperwork is correct and all rejected parts are accounted.


• Function as quality management representative in absents of coordinator and/or manager

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent


• 2-5 years in a manufacturing environment


• TS/ISO 90001 working knowledge preferred


• CMM and Datamyte experience preferred


• Stamping and resistance welding experience preferred


• Automotive industry experience preferred
