3Red Partners LLC, a proprietary trading firm headquartered in Chicago, is seeking a Quant to join the team. 3Red Partners is committed to leveraging technology and math to implement competitive trading strategies. The Quant will have the opportunity to work in one of our offices focusing on expanding and optimizing current and future trading opportunities. We are seeking a candidate that is searching for an opportunity to make a real impact, deliver value, and work within an experienced team.

Your impact:

• Work with the team to optimize the current strategy components and identify new trading opportunities


• Research and test alphas to improve existing tools and identify methods to increase trading efficiency  


• Focus on enhancing the production trading system and rewriting existing trades and signals

Your skills:

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree with an emphasis in Computer Science or a STEM related field (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Data Science, etc.) with more than 2 years of relevant work experience


• Experience with Python, C++, and machine learning tools


• Ability to understanding the optimization and profiling of trading systems with proven success of developing models in a low latency trading environment


• Strong multi-tasking skills, including the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at one time

The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 to $250,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and skills.
