Quick Lube Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:

In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience servicing vehicles through oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections while learning from a team dedicated to your growth and success. You’ll play an important role in keeping our customers safely on the road while building your skills in a supportive, team-focused environment. This is an onsite position, Monday - Friday (7:30am - 5:00pm) with rotating Saturdays (8:00am - 1:00pm), with occasional extended hours to support customers as needed.

 JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Complete oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid services according to established procedures.


• Inspect and adjust tire pressure as needed to support vehicle performance and safety.


• Perform tire rotations on customer vehicles to ensure even tire wear.


• Conduct multi-point inspections following GM standards on automotive vehicles.


• Effectively communicate to the Quick Lube Advisors about any recommendations for additional vehicle servicing(s) based on the multi-point inspections.


• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to provide customers with a professional and welcoming atmosphere.


• Must adhere to shop safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines.


• Other responsibilities may be assigned through continued employment.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED


• Prefer prior basic vehicle mechanical experience.


• Physical ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.


• Strong attention to detail and coachability skills.


• Effective communication skills.


• Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment.


• Reliable, trustworthy, organized, and efficient.


• Ability to operate an automobile with a valid driver’s license.


• Must allow pre-employment screenings, background, driving, and drug test.
