JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Radiation Oncology
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Stuart/St. Lucie West, FL
• Service Setting: Outpatient with Inpatient Consult Call Coverage
• Coverage Type: Clinical + Call
• Coverage Period: ASAP – 12/30/2026
• Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
      - 5 days/week with 4 clinical days and 1 OTV day
• Call Schedule: 1 week every 4 weeks, Monday – Sunday
• Call Type: Inpatient Consult Coverage
• Call Ratio: 1:4
• Callback Volume: Variable
      - rare weekend needs and approximately 3–5 calls per weekday

PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 18–25 patients day
• New Patients: Approximately 8–10 per week
• Established/Follow-Up Patients: Approximately 10–11 per week
• Case Mix: New and established Radiation Oncology visits, simulations, treatment management, and stereotactic coverage

FACILITY INFORMATION
• EMR System: Epic and Aria
• Treatment Planning Systems: Eclipse and MIM
• Equipment: TrueBeam
• Support Staff Available: One additional Radiation Oncologist, one dedicated RN per physician, fully staffed Radiation Therapists, and schedulers

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Vaccination Requirement: Yes

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Rate: TBD
• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• 3D Radiation Therapy
• Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
• Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
• Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
• Radiation Treatment Simulations
• Stereotactic Coverage
• Typical Radiation Treatment Delivery Procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Board: Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
• Licenses: Valid Florida Medical License Required
• IMLC: Job requirements indicate IMLC accepted; job overview specifies a valid Florida license is required
• Willing to License: No
• Other Qualifications: Must be able to provide outpatient Radiation Oncology services and participate in inpatient consult call coverage

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide outpatient Radiation Oncology services Monday through Friday.
• Evaluate and manage new and established Radiation Oncology patients.
• Perform treatment simulations and stereotactic coverage.
• Deliver and oversee 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and SRS treatments.
• Manage approximately 18–25 patients on treatment per physician.
• Participate in inpatient hospital consult call coverage one week every four weeks.
• Collaborate with the other Radiation Oncologist, dedicated RN, Radiation Therapists, and schedulers.
• Complete treatment planning using Eclipse and MIM within the Aria environment.
• Document clinical care using Epic and Aria.
