Radiographer - Imaging - Days

Hours- Either 5 - 8's OR 4 - 10's; To be determined based on department need, with minimal call required

General Summary

Performs routine and specialized diagnostic and technical radiographic procedures at a general skill level.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic examinations.
• Performs diagnostic procedures in one or more of the following specialty areas: operating room procedures (includes overhead, fluoroscopic and portable C-arm procedures)
• Oversees the work of other personnel by training, allocating and monitoring work. Performs work of a similar nature.
• Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure.
• Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures.
• Evaluates recorded images for technical quality.
• Assists in inventory control and ordering supplies.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• High school diploma or GED Required
• Associate's degree Preferred

Licenses:

• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• Registered Technologist-Radiography - ARRT Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Accredited program in radiologic technology Upon Hire Required
