Radiologic Technologist-Xray

Under the direction of the chief technologist or their designee, performs radiographic examinations/diagnostic imaging at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for imaging diagnosis.  Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

This position is a FT position with alternate weekends.  Weekend hours vary as per department needs.

Education and Requirements:

Associates degree.

Satisfactory completion of a formal two year Radiologic Technology training certified program.

Certified by the ARRT. 

Valid X-Ray Tech licensed by the State of New York.

Knowledge of Radiographic exposure equipment and Epic tracking equipment.
