Job Summary

The Radiology Technologist is responsible for assisting physicians in performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records. This role is crucial in supporting the diagnostic process and contributing to quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic imaging procedures X-rays


• Prepare and position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality images.


• Ensure patient safety by following radiation safety protocols and infection control standards.


• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure comfort and address any concerns.


• Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and facility policies.


• Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient information, and imaging results.


• Collaborate with healthcare team members to support diagnostic and treatment plans.


• Stay current with advances in radiologic technology and best practices.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.


• Valid certification and licensure as a Radiology Technologist.


• Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and safety protocols.


• Excellent patient care and communication skills.


• Ability to maintain accurate records and attention to detail.


• Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment and related software.
