Railcar Repairman - San Antonio, Texas

 
Rapidly-growing rail maintenance company, with over 50 years in the industry!  
RESCAR has immediate openings at our San Antonio mobile repair facility.

What You'll Do:

• Inspect, repair and replace defective or worn components on railcar equipment in safe working order, such as truck assembly, safety appliances, brake systems, wheels, and draft systems
• Diagnose and identify malfunctions
• Inspect bearings, seals, gaskets, wheels, and coupler assemblies to determine if repairs are needed
• Test and operate engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems

What You'll Need:

• Experience with hand tools
• Previous railcar and/or mechanic experience desired
• Familiarity with welding a plus
• Ability to work some weekends and travel out-of-town when needed
• The desire to work hard for potential to grow with a great company!
