Hours:

Tuesday - 8:30am -6:00pm

Wednesday - 7:00am -5:00pm

Thursday - 7:00am -5:00pm

Friday - 7:00am -2:00pm

Job Description From the Office:

A solo private practice that has been well -established for over 20 years in the same location in a busy and populated area in Denton, Texas. We are looking for someone passionate about what they do, wanting to work together with the Doctor & team to treat patients and promote good oral health. Our ideal candidate will love patients of all ages, have deep knowledge of relevant health & safety rules, and a good eye for oral diseases & anomalies, trainable and submissive to our system, not calling in to come in late or not showing up to work and is accountable, responsible, honest, independent, no attitude problem, excellent bedside manner, team player, work hard and efficient in busy and fast pace environment. Our office strive to hire, keep, and maintain a good staff for a long term by creating amazing work spaces and environment for our staff and compensating fairly and appropriately for the right candidate with experience. We have a nice, fun, easygoing, and stable full staff to work with. If you have a steady hand, work efficiently, team player, and trainable mindset willing to learn and improve, great bedside manner and personality, we would love to meet you! A minimum of two years of dental hygienist experience is preferred. However, NEW GRADS ARE WELCOME TO APPLY, we would love to teach you and train you as long as you have an open mind and motivated to learn and is the right fit for the practice!

Requirements

Software:

Open Dental

Basic Skills:

Use of intra -oral camera, Pouring/Trimming models,Taking alginate impressions, Taking blood pressure manually, Autoclave or Statim function and maintenance, Post -op instructions, Recording/updating medical records, Charting,Inputting patient notes, Instrument sterilization,Basic, restorative tray set -ups, Hygiene assisting, Ordering Supplies, Assisting other staff members, Schedule Follow -Up Appointments/Recalls

Advance Skills:

Routine Scaling, Deep Scaling curette Ultrasonic, Perio probing and charting: Manual computer psr, Patient education,Use of antimicrobial agents for subgingival irrigation, Presenting Treatment Plans, Use of loops, Explaining treatment needs (operative, surgical, etc.), New patient exam charting, Use of Rotodent, Sonicare, and similar products for home care, Use of Prophy Jet

Experience:

Willing to train!
