Position: Private Equity Associate – Real Estate (US)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $100–$120/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20–25 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Build a working financial model of an assigned real estate transaction from a synthetic deal document pack.
• Deliver an editable Excel workbook with live formulas, source references, and stated assumptions.
• Peer-review two anonymized models from other contractors against a fixed set of criteria.
• Provide a short written rationale for each peer review and complete a review scorecard.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve model accuracy.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 2–4 years total experience: ~2 years investment banking (Real Estate or Industrials) followed by 1–2 years in private equity.
• Currently or recently an Associate at a real-estate-focused mid-market or upper-mid-market PE fund.
• Able to build a financial model from source documents, without a template.
• Fluent English.
