The Receiving Specialist II  is a critical role on the Receiving team that supports the team’s success through accurate and efficient handling of inventory, primarily on the receiving floor. 

The position for Receiving Specialist II is expected to be open until October 7, 2026.

Key Responsibilities for Receiving Specialist II 

• Receives, unpacks, and inspects incoming materials and supplies. 
• Maintains awareness of low inventory stock levels and prioritizes receipt of goods accordingly.
• Verifies item counts match against shipment packing slip and bill of lading. 
• Ensures shipment packing slip and bill of lading are collected for each delivery. 
• Uploads shipment documents to inbound shipment tracking log.
• Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. 
• Handles systematic receipt of goods through inventory management system.
• Assists with quarantine of inventoried goods when necessary.
• Ensures older inventory is received first, to maintain the integrity of a “first in first out” system.
• Assists with loading and unloading of items for internal building transfers.
• Picks up and delivers documents, letters, packages, and other items on time, between organization facilities using company vehicles. 
• Ensures proper paperwork and items get transferred daily and in promised time.
• Picks up and delivers product to/from outside vendors. 
• Utilizes pallet jack and other handling equipment to move material within warehouse facility.
• Handles loading of outbound recycle and broken pallets.
• Maintains cleanliness of receiving area and company vehicles, including disposal of shrink wrap, trash, and broken pallets. 
• Helps to maintain general warehouse cleanliness.
• Works independently within receiving and materials handling procedures

High School diploma or GED.

1-3 years of materials handling experience preferred. Previous experience in receiving a plus!

Experience with mail delivery, receiving, and/or distribution preferred. 

Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required. 

Must be able to work independently, stay on task, and follow established procedures. 

Attention to detail, mechanically inclined.

Previous experience using RF/handheld scanning device preferred.

Ability to think creatively, be positive and be innovative.

Adapt quickly to the everchanging business requirements. 

Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs. 

Ability to stand and walk for the 8-hour shift.

Ability to safely operate company vehicles to move and deliver packages, mail, and other items.

Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Work Hours: This is a regular, benefits-eligible position with normal hours M-F: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Overtime and/or weekend hours may be required.

Hiring Compensation for Receiving Specialist I: Hiring pay:  Starting at $18.00 to $20.00/hour DOQ. .
