Receiving/Warehouse Operative

Red Dot Corporation, the leading producer of premium mobile HVAC units and components for heavy-duty commercial and military vehicles, is recruiting for the following position:

Shift: Days

Compensation: $20.50/hr

JOB SUMMARY: Primarily assigned to receiving area, but may be asked to learn other roles within the warehouse as well. Performs a variety of warehousing functions, which may include: shipping, receiving, cycle counting, inventory control, supply documentation, data input, material distribution and delivery. Safely operates lift trucks and related material handling equipment as required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): 

• Coordinates the safe unloading, identification, and receiving, of parts and materials or finished products.

• Ensures that deliveries of product are properly documented and noted for condition and counted accurately before being signed for.    

• Processes and verifies receipted inventory movement and transactions are correct into the put away staging location.  

• Maintains the overall accuracy of processes, recommends procedures to improve process control and overall workflow   efficiency. 

• Performs a variety of warehousing functions, which includes receiving, counting, supporting inventory control in audits of receipt errors. 

• Maintains supplier and carrier documentation for record keeping and audit purposes. enter data into oracle to receive parts and close POs. Deliver parts to work centers, and assist with scrap collection and disposal.

• Utilizes proper labeling and license plate identifiers on all receipts and work in process. 

• Utilizes Oracle to record and update inventory 

• Inspects product and utilizes support from the quality team as required to maintain quality control.

• Work with both accounting and purchasing departments to resolve all receiving related discrepancies.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1-2 years Warehouse/Distribution Center experience, required.
• Ability to access data on a computer and accurately enter information required.
• Ability to multi-tasks
• Ability to handle multiple deadlines
• Prior material handling or inventory control experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 35 to 50 pounds, with standing and frequent bending.
• Forklift certification highly desired, or must have
• Good attendance record
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with peers, supervisors and upper management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Working knowledge of various MS Office Programs (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime when necessary
