Job Summary
The Receptionist plays an important role in the company’s continued growth and helps “deliver the wow” to our visitors, investors, candidates, and guests. As a member of this team, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the flow of the lobby of our headquarters in Westlake, Texas.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Take a proactive approach when working with various department leadership to ensure that preparations are made for guests and trainees.
Receive visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing, and coordinating appropriately.
Answer employee and visitor questions and emails, and provide them with the relevant information.
Notify relevant employees when visitors arrive.
Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries. Notify recipients of their delivery and ensure packages are relocated to designated staging area.
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
Process requests for new or replacement parking passes and building access badges for the Westlake office.
Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper etc.).
Required Skills and Abilities
Professional attitude and appearance; high level of professionalism and courtesy.
Highly professional and effective interpersonal communication and collaboration with all departments and their leadership.
Work well and maintain professional demeanor under pressure.
Excellent organizational skills.
Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and strong intellectual ability.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and initiative to resolve issues as they arise.
Strong time management and multitasking skills, including ability to pivot and re-prioritize, depending on need.
Work well in a team environment to promote innovation and positive morale.
Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as the need arises.
Proficient in technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
