Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking a Receptionist and Accounting Coordinator in Virginia Beach, Virginia to join our team! 


What you’ll be doing



  • Providing front desk coverage during receptionist’s lunch breaks, scheduled PTO, and as needed.

  • Answering incoming phone calls and directing callers to the appropriate employee or department.

  • Greeting visitors, vendors, employees, and guests in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Helping maintain an organized and welcoming front office environment.

  • Sorting and distribute incoming mail daily.

  • Coordinating pick-up and delivery of express mail services including FedEx, UPS, and other carriers.

  • Completing daily check deposits for the accounting department.

  • Cutting and mailing checks as needed for the accounting department.

  • Providing support for seasonal accounting tasks as they arise.

  • Other duties as assigned.


What you’ll bring



  • Previous administrative, receptionist, office support or customer service experience 

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Calendar

  • Experience working with all levels and varying positions of staff while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor

  • Ability to remain calm and handle the pressure of multi-tasking

  • Ability to remain highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Professional verbal and written communication with individuals in person, over email, and on the phone

  • Superior internal and external customer service skills, including recognizing the importance of listening to understand before responding, when approached with requests
