Job Description:
 

Essential Duties:

• Operates and maintains a variety of agriculture equipment such as loaders, tractors, skid steers, chisel plow, disk, mulcher, rock picker, seeder, etc.
• Conducts a pre-operational safety check (walk around) of equipment. 
• Performs final reclamation duties of reclaimed land including cultivating, rock picking, seeding, mulching, and crimping.
• Installs erosion control and stabilization products including concrete mats, rock riprap, erosion fabrics, silt fences, etc.
• Performs a variety of maintenance tasks including mowing and weed spraying.
• Constructs, maintains, and removes agricultural fences. 
• Coordinates with other equipment in work areas.
• Operates a dredge to assist with pond cleanout projects.
• Performs job duties in accordance with MSHA law and regulations, established company safety procedures and State and Federal environmental regulations.

Other Duties:

• Service equipment and perform routine repairs.
• Supports other departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must be knowledgeable concerning ground conditions and a good understanding of agriculture equipment and practices.  Must be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions. 

Education, Training and Experience:

On-the-job experience.  Commercial pesticide certification preferred.
