Bilingual Recruiting Assistant Job Description

Ascend Staffing is hiring a part-time Bilingual Recruiting Assistant for our Hobbs branch. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, professional, and enjoys helping people.

As a Bilingual Recruiting Assistant, you will support daily branch operations by assisting with applicant intake, data entry, front desk duties, customer service, and general office support. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish in order to assist applicants, employees, and visitors throughout the hiring and onboarding process.

This position will work approximately 20–30 hours per week and has the potential to become a full-time position based on business needs and performance.

What You’ll Do

As a Bilingual Recruiting Assistant, you will help with:

• Greeting applicants and assisting them through the application and onboarding process


• Communicating with applicants and employees in both English and Spanish


• Completing applicant intake and gathering required information


• Entering and updating candidate information in internal systems


• Answering phones and assisting with basic questions


• Providing professional customer service to applicants, employees, and clients


• Supporting recruiters and branch staff with administrative tasks


• Filing, scanning, copying, and maintaining office documents


• Helping keep the front office organized and welcoming


• Assisting with other branch duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish


• Previous office, administrative, customer service, staffing, or front desk experience preferred


• Strong communication and people skills


• Good attention to detail and accuracy with data entry


• Comfortable using computers and office systems


• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks


• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented


• High school diploma or GED preferred
