Description

Provides support for undergraduate recruitment, admissions, and enrollment initiatives for the College of Communication and Fine Arts (CCFA), advancing prospective student outreach, enrollment yield efforts, and student engagement. Provides targeted academic advising and student success support to an assigned caseload of undergraduate students. Collaborates with the Assistant Director of College Recruitment and Admissions, faculty, advisors, and campus partners to support recruitment pipelines from inquiry through enrollment and to promote student persistence and timely degree completion. 



Responsibilities

Undergraduate Recruitment, Admissions, and Enrollment 

  • Collaborates closely with the Assistant Director of College Recruitment and Admissions to execute recruitment strategies, support enrollment goals, and maintain consistent messaging across CCFA recruitment and admissions activities. 
  • Serves as a key contributor to CCFA undergraduate recruitment and admissions efforts by supporting college-wide enrollment initiatives and prospective student engagement activities. Acts as a knowledgeable and welcoming point of contact for prospective students and families, representing CCFA programs, pathways, and opportunities. 
  • Participates in on-campus and off-campus recruitment activities, including college fairs, high school and community college visits, campus tours, open houses, admitted student events, and program-specific recruitment efforts. Supports outreach initiatives designed to increase applications, enrollment, and yield. 
  • Assists with prospective student communications and admissions-related processes, including support for auditions, portfolio reviews, interviews, and program-specific admissions requirements, in collaboration with academic departments and Undergraduate Admissions. 

 

Academic Advising and Student Success 

  • Provides academic advising and student success support to an assigned caseload of undergraduate CCFA students, offering guidance on degree requirements, academic planning, university policies, and available campus resources to support progress toward graduation. 
  • Monitors and supports students within the advising caseload who may require additional academic intervention, including students experiencing academic difficulty, returning to good standing, or transitioning as transfer or adult learners. Ensures appropriate documentation, communication, and follow-up to promote student persistence and success. 
  • Coordinates graduation-related academic processes for assigned CCFA students, including verification of degree completion status, communication with university commencement offices, and support for departmental and student graduation needs. Provides graduation data and reporting as requested. 
  • Ensures compliance with university, state, and federal requirements related to academic eligibility, certification, and graduation documentation for CCFA students within the assigned caseload, including required approvals for specialized student populations. 

 

Collaboration and Program Support 

  • Collaborates with faculty and staff advisors to support effective advising practices and consistent communication across the college, contributing to a coordinated undergraduate support structure. 
  • Maintains current knowledge of institutional academic policies and procedures and contributes to their refinement through participation in college and university committees. 

 

Other Duties 

  • Performs other related duties as assigned in support of the university's academic mission of a successful outcome for every student. 


Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field 
  • One (1) year of relevant experience evaluating credentials or working with academic and graduation policies. 
  • Relevant experience may substitute for required education.
