Job Description - Referrals Assistant

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier multi-specialty practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Referrals Assistant to join our Administration team in Fort Myers. Schedule is Monday through Friday, Day Shift.

Our Referrals Assistant:

Provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external customers

Review and track referral requests for the Referrals department

Assist Referral Specialists with day-to-day operations

Record information accurately into our patient management system

Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations

To be Successful – You Need:

Experience working in a high volume office environment

Great attention to detail and data entry accuracy

Ability to handle all interactions in a professional manner

One year of medical office experience or a combination of education and office experience required.

Prior medical referral experience preferred
