The Regional Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of localized marketing initiatives, events, and campaigns the East Coast region. Reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating marketing activities, managing project tasks, supporting advisor marketing requests, and ensuring the timely delivery of regional marketing initiatives. 

This position is highly execution-focused and ideal for someone who enjoys organization, collaboration, and bringing projects to completion. The Regional Marketing Coordinator works closely with regional advisors, office leadership, and the corporate marketing team to support client engagement, brand awareness, and business development efforts. 

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and service. This individual will focus on coordination and execution rather than marketing strategy development, helping ensure regional marketing programs are delivered efficiently and consistently. 

Essential Job Functions 

Regional Marketing Execution & Project Coordination 

  • Support the execution of regional marketing plans as directed by the Regional Marketing Manager. 
  • Coordinate day-to-day marketing activities for the East Coast region. 
  • Manage assigned tasks and timelines within the firm's project management platform (ClickUp). 
  • Track project status, deadlines, and deliverables while helping ensure projects move efficiently through creative, content, and compliance workflows. 
  • Assist with the creation, customization, and deployment of marketing materials, emails, social media content, landing pages, and other campaign assets. 
  • Process advisor and office marketing requests and coordinate fulfillment with internal marketing teams. 
  • Maintain marketing calendars and project schedules for assigned regions. 

Event Management & Local Market Support 

  • Coordinate logistics for client events, seminars, appreciation events, sponsorships, community events, and networking activities. 
  • Manage registration lists, invitations, event materials, promotional items, signage, and vendor communications. 
  • Support onsite event execution, including setup, attendee management, photography coordination, and post-event follow-up. 
  • Coordinate the distribution of marketing collateral and branded materials to regional offices. 
  • Assist with event reporting and documentation following completion of events. 

Advisor & Office Marketing Support 

  • Serve as a primary marketing support resource for advisors and staff within the Marietta office and assigned East Coast markets. 
  • Assist advisors with marketing requests, campaign implementation, presentations, and local marketing initiatives. 
  • Coordinate the production and delivery of marketing materials while ensuring compliance with firm standards and brand guidelines. 
  • Support advisor participation in community events, sponsorships, and business development activities. 

Administrative & Operational Support 

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, templates, and marketing resources. 
  • Assist in gathering regional marketing metrics and reporting information. 
  • Monitor project workflows and follow up with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met. 
  • Support the Regional Marketing Manager with planning, organization, and execution of regional marketing priorities. 
  • Maintain organized records of events, marketing assets, budgets, and vendor information.

  • Working knowledge of digital marketing channels, event coordination, and marketing operations. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Experience with project management platforms and CRM systems is preferred. 
  • Ability to travel occasionally throughout the East Coast region in support of events and regional initiatives.

Compensation: Merit Financial Advisors offers competitive compensation based on experience, qualifications, location, and market data. Where required by applicable law, salary ranges will be provided during the hiring process.







Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field preferred. 
  • 1-3 years of marketing, communications, event coordination, or related experience. 
  • Experience supporting events, marketing campaigns, or client-facing initiatives preferred. 
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp, Monday.com, Asana, or similar platforms. 
  • Experience within financial services, professional services, wealth management, or a highly regulated industry is a plus.
