Job Summary:


The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales growth and business development objectives for AW-Lake flow measurement products within the assigned territory.  This role will focus on both direct sales to end-users and OEMs as well as managing and expanding business through established channel partners.  The successful candidate will develop new business opportunities, strengthen customer and channel partner relationships, and drive growth across the assigned territory.


Preferred Residence: California.  Other locations within the Western United States will be considered for qualified candidates with convenient access to a major airport.


Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement a territory sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets.

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with OEMs, system integrators, and end-users.

  • Manage, support, and grow relationships with distribution and channel partners.

  • Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations as required.

  • Provide training and joint sales support to channel partners to strengthen market presence.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales opportunities within CRM tools.

  • Provide realistic sales forecasts and business outlooks for the assigned territory.

  • Monitor competitive activity and provide market feedback to internal stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with internal departments including product management, engineering, and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and technical support.

  • Travel within the assigned territory as required (approximately 50%).


 Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful outside sales experience managing a geographic territory and selling flow meters, instrumentation, process control equipment, or similar industrial products.

  • Demonstrated success in both direct and channel sales environments.

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate product specifications and applications.

  • Experience using CRM to manage customer and opportunity information.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands:


The role requires prolonged periods of sitting while working on a computer, including typing, video conferencing, and phone communication. The employee must be able to operate standard office equipment such as a laptop, phone, and related technology.


Frequent travel is required, including the ability to sit for extended periods during flights or car travel. The employee must be able to transport luggage, product samples, and/or sales materials weighing up to 25–30 pounds. Occasional standing and walking are required during client meetings and conferences.


This role involves navigating airports, hotels and client offices. Reasonable accommodation may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Pay Transparency:


We are committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices. The compensation range for this position is $125,000–$150,000 per year, depending on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.


In addition to base compensation, this role includes a comprehensive benefit package which may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
