What You Will Bring to Our Team

As our Regional Site Director you will report to the Vice President of Site Operations and work in collaboration with the entire organization to deliver and work in collaboration with the Clinical Operations group and work cross-collaboratively with our Regulatory and Business Development teams.

How Will You Do This

Specific responsibilities include:

• Providing direct managerial oversight to staff in the Hudson Valley and Northern New Jersey districts Clinical Research Coordinators, ensuring each member is meeting study specific and business-related expectations.
• Coaching and mentoring staff to establish opportunities for career development.
• Fostering and maintaining a positive, results-oriented work environment.
• Training all clinical research staff and physicians on proper clinical trial execution.
• Conducting ongoing performance evaluations and career developing mapping with site team members.
• Managing clinical research program and operations in accordance with Circuit Clinical procedures and policies.
• Assisting Business Development and prospect for new physicians and studies.
• Collaborating with Business Development for protocol review. Work with the Director, Study Start Up to develop budgets and time estimates. Assist the VP Site Operations with protocol deconstruction and budget grids for clinical trial operations.
• Working directly with the network team to identify, qualify and onboard newly identified PIs and Sub-Is based on pipeline needs and company’s targeted therapeutic areas:
• Partner with network to determine what points of expansion make the most sense for Circuit, determining the need for additional space, resources and equipment.?
• Direct involvement in building the budget for expansion in district.
• Assisting the Physician Network team in maintaining strong relationships with our current research providers as well as cultivate new relationships with potential new customers. Attend and contribute to governance prep discussions.
• Partnering with the operations leadership team to ensure alignment with the company’s vision and implementation of the Circuit business model within the designated region.
• Liaise with Patient Recruitment Specialists to maximize patient enrollment and retention.
• Assisting with the identification of clinical trials that best align with the population and financial goals of Circuit Clinical.
• Maintaining QA and tracking systems at the site level, ensuring accurate completion of all activities required to start and run a clinical trial.
• Managing P&L, 3rd party contract facilitation, establish and maintain billing process (rate card), utilization of staff and identification of additional needs, constantly looking for process improvements/efficiencies, ensuring all departmental activities are moving/being completed on time and with quality, reconciling invoices and payments, manage PI payment tracker/time management, PI engagement (continual using a set budget).
• Attending potential operations, SCRS, ACRP, conference attendance and presentation, webinars, liaise with marketing to ensure proper materials are developed/printed/displayed.
• Partnering with VP, Site Operations and Human Resources to develop career pathway planning and retention process for site operations staff
• Establish a budget and parameters for staff appreciation program for site operations staff
• Develop a tool for career pathway planning for supervisors to use with staff
• Develop a library of resources (SCRS free webinars, Circuit’s existing resources, mentorship opportunities, etc.) recommended for staff development
• Develop additional training opportunities for PIs.?
• Documented training, mentorship, and study exposure opportunities for PIs to allow sales to speak to engaging with community physicians without research experience
• Maintain the operational integrity of current research sites
• Supporting Network site(s) as a CRC in situations, as needed
• Additional duties as assigned.

Your qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 2-3 years equivalent of experience
• Minimum of 10 years clinical research experience required, preferably as a Research Coordinator
• 5-10 years of proven success in a leadership role
• Experience with creating and managing a budget preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of EMR systems
• Knowledge of CRM
• Knowledge of CTMS
• Willingness to travel to be on site between Northern NJ and Hudson Valley sites daily.

Location: This is an on-site position working out of our Northern New Jersey and Hudson Valley sites daily.

Travel: Requires frequent travel to our sites
