Primary Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the team’s quality of work, productivity, and actions.
- Direct and support production teams by assigning tasks, balancing workloads, and ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet technical and regulatory standards.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of projects—ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Discipline Leads on project budgeting, scheduling, staffing forecasts, and proposal development.
- Offer expert guidance on code compliance, and technical problem-solving, including implementation of Quality Management Programs, QA reviews, survey calculations, and documentation accuracy.
- Serve as a technical liaison between internal teams, clients, consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) to ensure project clarity, alignment, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Interpret and apply company, client, and jurisdictional requirements, standards and applicable codes to ensure documentation meet professional, legal and safety obligations.
- Perform or coordinate site visits and field measurements to validate existing conditions.
- Implement and uphold quality management processes and contribute to the development of best practices and standards.
- Lead meetings, document decisions, and clearly communicate project goals, updates, and changes to all relevant parties, including clients and senior leadership.
- Supervising direct reports is a key responsibility of this job.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or a related field; In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a Professional Surveyor license is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience is required.
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role is preferred.
- Completion of Fundamentals of Surveying Examination (FS) and certification as an SI with a state licensure board is preferred.
- Professional Surveyor (PS) licensure is preferred.
- Computer skills necessary to enter daily timesheet data and use Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Deltek, BlueBeam Revu and other applicable software.
- Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil3D technology experience is a plus.

determined by several factors, including location, experience, education, skills, and internal equity. Our pay
structures are benchmarked against industry and market data to stay competitive. Each offer is based on a full review

Below are the typical new hire pay ranges for this position based on location:
• Orlando, FL: $90,669 - $114,848
